Welcome
Hello and welcome to our Kindergarten Wilshire Park webpage. In our Kindergarten rooms we use the Smart Board, computers,
and new educational programs such as Treasures Reading and Envision Math. On a weekly basis, we visit the computer lab to
navigate Lexia, a computer program designed to facilitate student learning with phonics-based lessons. Additionally, our curriculum
is enriched through experiences provided by the music and theater teachers.
In our Kindergarten classrooms at Wilshire Park, we have high expectations of all our students and we know that with practice
and patience, just about anything can be achieved. We want our students to work hard, but also have fun and use their creative minds.
Kindergarten is a wonderful time where many students are new to the school environment and throughout the school year develop into
self-sufficient, confident, life-long learners.
